De selectie voor de Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2019 is gepubliceerd. De uiteindelijke winnaars worden bekendgemaakt op 11 april, de tweede dag van de Plastics Recycling Show in Amsterdam.

Er zijn zeven categorieën: Building & Construction Product of the Year, Automotive, Electrical or Electronic Product of the Year, Household & Leisure Product of the Year, Plastic Packaging Product of the Year, Product Technology Innovation of the Year, Recycling Machinery Innovation of the Year and Plastics Recycling Ambassador of the Year. "Met een groter aantal categorieën en veertig finalisten is de tweede editie van de awards illustratief voor de technische ontwikkeling en toenemende innovatie in de sector", vindt voorzitter Ton Emans van Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE).  

De finalisten

De jury van dit jaar bestaat onder anderen uit Willemijn Peeters (Searious Business),  Bart Bleijerveld (Better Future Factory), Rune Thoralfsson (Norfolier GreenTec), Ton Emans (PRE) en Karen Laird (Plastics News Europe).
